Resumen: Esta investigación tiene por objeto adaptar y validar el instrumento denominado Perfil de Implementación del Proyecto (PIP) para la evaluación de proyectos realizados en Latinoamérica. Participaron 420 profesionales involucrados, ya sea como líderes o miembros de equipos, en proyectos culminados en el periodo 2020-2021. Como el instrumento fue elaborado en inglés se utilizó un procedimiento de traducción y re-traducción, en el cual participaron expertos profesionales y académicos en gestión de proyectos junto con traductores certificados, para su adaptación a la población hispanoparlante en Latinoamérica. Para el análisis factorial exploratorio se seleccionó el método de extracción de mínimos cuadrados no ponderados, obteniéndose cuatro factores críticos de éxito: Comunicación con el cliente, seguimiento y planeación, alta gerencia, y capacidades técnicas, con coeficientes Cronbach Alpha comprendidos entre .876 y .933. Posteriormente se aplicó el análisis factorial confirmatorio, el cual demostró que el instrumento posee validez convergente y discriminante y, en consecuencia, puede ser utilizado en la academia para futuras investigaciones sobre la gestión de proyectos, y en lo profesional para evaluar el desempeño de proyectos ecuatorianos, contemplando la limitación de que el porcentaje de participación de proyectos de otros países de Latinoamérica en la muestra de estudio fue del 22 %.

Abstract: This research aims to adapt and validate the Project Implementation Profile (PIP) instrument for evaluating projects carried out in Latin America. Four hundred twenty professionals participated as leaders or team members in projects completed in 2020-2021. As the instrument was developed in English, a translation and retranslation procedure was used, in which professional and academic experts in project management participated, along with certified translators, for its adaptation to the Spanish-speaking population in Latin America. For the exploratory factor analysis, the unweighted least squares extraction method was selected, obtaining four critical success factors: Communication with the client, monitoring and planning, senior management, and technical capabilities, with Cronbach Alpha coefficients between .876 and 933. Subsequently, confirmatory factor analysis was applied, demonstrating that the instrument has convergent and discriminant validity and, consequently, can be used in academia for future research on project management and professionally to evaluate the performance of Ecuadorian projects, considering the limitation that the percentage of participation of projects from other Latin American countries in the study sample was 22%.

Abstract This study aimed to evidence the validity and reliability ofthe Ecuadorian version ofthe Adult Dispositional Hope Scale, one of the most studied concepts of positive psychology. The adaptation process included translation and semantic and idiomatic validation. For content validation, an expert review and focus group were conducted. The questionnaire was applied to 2423 workers in Ecuador with a mean age of 37 years (SD = 9.04), and 65.6% were women. A confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to assess the validity of the scale’s dimensionality. The reliability and convergent and discriminant validity were also evaluated. In order to investigate the best solution for an Ecuadorian version ofthe Adult Dispositional Hope Scale, four structural models were assessed. The unidimensional solution was the most adequate structure for the scale. The internal consistency of the scale was adequate. The Adult Dispositional Hope Scale (ADHS) was developed to assess this positive psychological state and has been the most used tool in many contexts. To our knowledge, this study is the first to adapt the Adult Dispositional Hope Scale into the Ecuadorian context and evaluate its validity. The findings support its reliability, factorial, and construct validity in the Ecuadorian context. Furthermore, the results show that dispositional hope acts as a protective factor, promoting work engagement and preventing burnout.

Abstract The objective of the research is to identify the zoning of the highest production of Banana, Coffee and Cacao and its economic impact in Ecuador, period 2013-2016. The zonal planning is a management model with development proposals for the different sectors, mainly productive due to the binding effect, allowing the decentralization of functions and the specialization of areas of influence for the respective territorial strengthening. The data were obtained from the Central Bank of Ecuador proposing the study with a quantitative and descriptive approach, the values were statistically processed, obtaining the main results when determining that zone 5 comprised of Santa Elena, Guayas, Bolívar, Los Ríos and Galápagos are the of greater production followed by zone 7 with a lower percentage, representing being the second largest item in the national economy, therefore, the main conclusions determine an economy dependent on the agricultural sector due to the economic contribution provided in the levels of production and exports in the Gross Domestic Product through the consolidation of economic and public policies for the Ecuadorian zones.

Resumen El objetivo de la investigación consiste en identificar la zonificación de mayor producción de Banano, Café y Cacao y su impacto económico en el Ecuador, período 2013-2016. La planificación zonal es un modelo de gestión con propuestas de desarrollo para los diferentes sectores, principalmente el productivo por el efecto vinculante, permitiendo la descentralización de funciones y la especialización de áreas de influencia para el respectivo fortalecimiento territorial. Los datos fueron obtenidos del Banco Central del Ecuador planteando el estudio con un enfoque cuantitativo y descriptivo, los valores fueron procesados estadísticamente, obteniendo como principales resultados que la zona 5 comprendido por Santa Elena, Guayas, Bolívar, Los Ríos y Galápagos son las de mayor producción seguido de la zona 7 con menor porcentaje, representando ser el segundo rubro de la economía nacional, por lo tanto, las principales conclusiones determinan a una economía dependiente del sector agropecuario por el aporte económico brindado en los niveles de producción y exportaciones en el Producto Interno Bruto mediante la consolidación de políticas económicas y públicas para las zonas ecuatorianas.

Resumen: El propósito de este estudio es presentar las propiedades psicométricas de un nuevo instrumento desarrollado por los autores para medir la percepción que tienen los trabajadores de una Organización con respecto a los comportamientos cívicos de sus compañeros, de su equipo de trabajo y de su jefe. Para esto, 340 colaboradores de una Institución de Superior de Educación en Ecuador respondieron a la Escala de Comportamientos Cívicos (ECC) y a través de un análisis factorial confirmatorio y un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales se demostró que el instrumento presenta una alta fiabilidad (α=0.96) y una validez convergente y discriminante que puede ser usada por otros investigadores y profesionales para evaluar los comportamientos cívicos en entornos educativos.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to present the psychometric properties of a Spanish version of the Civic Behavior Scale (CBS), a new instrument developed by the authors that measure the perceived civic behaviors of workers in an Organization from the perspective of their colleagues, their work team and their superior immediate boss. For this purpose, 340 workers of a Higher Education Institution in Ecuador, responded to the CBS. Confirmatory Factor analysis using structural equation modeling reveled that que questionnaire shows a high reliability (α=0.96) and convergent and discriminant validity and that can be used by researches and practitioners to assess civic behaviors in educational institution.
